Actinic Templates Frequent Questions

Payment can be made by credit or debit card or Paypal via a secure payment page. If you wish to pay by a different method please specify "Other" on the order form. Please note that payment sent by method other than credit or debit card or Paypal may take longer to receive and delay the sending of the template.

When your order is received you will be emailed an invoice with link to pay by secure payment page or other chosen method and on receipt of payment your package will be emailed to you. Typically this is quickly the same day. If you have not received your package after 3 days please contact Peblaco as it could be problem with the email address, verification or delays during busy periods.

The terms of use allows a non-exclusive limited license to use the templates on one licensed version of Actinic software belonging to you or your client for one web site on one domain name only. If you wish to use the templates for another web site then you must purchase another package of the templates so that you hold a second license for the second site.

Yes these templates are completely customisable, you can change the design colours, logo, images, links, font type, font sizes, background colour or background image using Actinic menus as with default Actinic templates. (Note: You need a graphic software program to change colours on design images). You are also free to change the code as needed. If you should you make any coding changes and need assistance, please contact Peblaco, additional work is subject to quotation.

Yes the easy to follow instruction guide contains a simple step by step procedure for importing the templates and selecting them within Actinic software.

You will be emailed a package containing the necessary files - an Actinic design import file (unless you have an earlier version of Actinic), the design images and CSS style sheet to copy into your Actinic folder, an Actinic colour scheme file and an easy to follow instruction guide for importing and selecting the new templates from within your Actinic software.

No, your Actinic content (sections and products etc) will remain the same, it is only the design around them which will change. Unlike a traditional application of an "Actinic theme" from within the software which overwrites any current templates and style sheet customisations you may have made, Peblaco's templates are added alongside your templates protecting your current files. If you have made any customisations to your Actinic templates you will need to copy them to the new template.

You can add content or images up to 570 pixels wide to the central area. Some default Actinic CSS templates included with the software allow for images up to 570 pixels wide. In both cases wider content may displace the layout in some browsers.

The templates have been built using a CSS W3C valid style sheet and HTML/XHTML code.

Note: Actinic software has its own layouts and specific coding tags within the templates which may not comply with W3C HTML standards however this does not affect site functionality or display.

Yes the templates are built with source ordering, so that the main area of the page containing your content comes before the sidebars in the code. When a search engine crawls your site pages it finds the content higher in the code and it is given more importance. Also the templates are built using CSS style sheets using correct coding to W3C standards which is easier for search engines to read and faster for users to download.

Yes the templates have been extensively browser tested to work with the most recent versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and Chrome. The templates also work in many other web browsers.

Yes Peblaco's Actinic templates are built to ensure they comply with WAI accessibility standards to Level A conformance and built using a CSS style sheet. CSS allows for styling the web site via an external style sheet. Where CSS style sheets are disabled in the browser, the page is still readable and functional. The following features have been implemented to assist visually impaired users:

• Built clearly in CSS to assist screen readers
• Links to skip to main navigation areas
• Navigation links clearly separated

Note: Actinic software has its own layouts and specific coding tags within the templates which may not comply with WAI accessibility standards however this does not affect site functionality or display.

As part of the templates package you will receive an instruction guide which tells you how to import the new design into your Actinic software. Support covers telephone or email assistance with installation of the templates by yourself. Peblaco does not provide further support, should you require additional assistance please contact Peblaco, additional work is subject to quotation.

No these Actinic templates are sold separately. To use these templates you must own a fully licensed version of Actinic ecommerce software. Please see the terms of use.

Should you upgrade your Actinic software to a different patch version or different version number the Actinic software should upgrade the templates correctly. However, should any unforeseen problems arise from Actinic software upgrades, Peblaco reserves the right to quote separately for any work needed to upgrade the templates to a different version.

As per the terms of use, Peblaco offers these templates as non-tangible irrevocable goods. Due to the digital nature of these designs and templates, there will be no refunds once you have been sent the package. If you purchase something in error and the package has not yet been sent to you, you can contact Peblaco to apply for a refund or exchange at Peblaco's discretion. Once the package has been sent to you, no refunds are offered. All sales are final. Please make sure you have read the product description, these FAQs and the terms of use so that you understand your purchase before going ahead to avoid any disappointment.

No you cannot resell the templates or place the designs, templates or code, modified or unmodified, in full or in part on any diskette, CD, DVD, email, web site, site builder, server or any other medium and offer them for redistribution, lending, rental, resale, free offer, give away or redistribution of any kind without prior written consent from Peblaco. Please read the terms of use for full license conditions.

As per the terms of use, you may not sub-license, assign or transfer the license on these templates to anyone else without prior written consent from Peblaco. In this instance please contact Peblaco with your request.
